How to have a Stress-free Summer…
The Summer holidays are here at last! They can often bring with them a change in routine for us and our pets. Holidays are booked, children are off school and more time spent is usually spent around the home. It’s a time for fun and relaxation, but for some pets it can cause extra stress and worry.
Say no to parasites…
No one really likes to think about the parasites which can feed on our pets. That’s why preventing problems with parasites is also going to be better for our pets than treating them when they arise…
Lumps and Bumps
Most pet owners will worry if they see a lump or bump on their pet. Not all lumps will be sinister, but it’s always important to get any lump, however small, checked out…
The diet starts next week!
At least that’s what a lot of people say to themselves! But what about your pets? Do they feel the same as us about diet and exercise?
Below the gumline…
Many pet dental diseases occur below the gum line, where you can’t see. Maybe that’s why dental problems can be missed even by the most observant pet owners…
Christmas Hazards…
Christmas is a time for celebration… not a time when you want an unexpected trip to the vets! It’s important to remember that Christmas can create additional hazards for our pets. So here’s some top tips to stay safe this Christmas.
Skin Clinics
This month we want to raise awareness of potential allergens which can make our pets itchy. If you’ve ever had an itchy insect bite, you’ll know how uncomfortable it can be.
Firework fears…
Our pets can’t understand what fireworks are about. To them, the loud noises and bright flashes are scary and unexpected and our pets often want to escape from what is a high-stress situation for them.
Have you entered our Summer Photo competition?
We hope you’ve been enjoying the Summer this year! The hot weather brings a few challenges when it comes to keeping our pets happy and healthy…and cool! But it’s also a great time to enjoy spending with our pets… and getting some photos of them too!
Vaccination Offer
If your pets have fallen behind on their vaccinations, you can get them protected again at a discounted price. Our Boost and Protect Offer is running throughout April and you can take advantage of discounted vaccination prices. Plus you’ll get a full health check from Duncan.
